About Us
Independent journalism built on facts, fairness, and a relentless commitment to truth.
"Our mission is to inform, challenge, and inspire — delivering trusted news to millions of readers every day."
Our Story
Founded over a decade ago as a small digital newsroom, we have grown into one of the most-read independent news organisations in the region. We began with a single editor, a handful of reporters, and a belief that rigorous, unbiased reporting could make a difference.
Today our team of more than 80 journalists, editors, photographers, and data analysts covers politics, business, science, technology, culture, and sport — 24 hours a day, seven days a week. We hold the powerful to account, amplify underreported stories, and bring clarity to complex issues.
We are editorially independent and funded entirely by advertising, reader subscriptions, and event partnerships. No government or political party has any stake in our coverage.
Our Values
Fairness
We represent every side of the story and let the facts speak for themselves, free from ideological bias.
Accuracy
Every claim is verified before it is published. We correct errors promptly and transparently.
Transparency
We tell you who funds us, how we operate, and how editorial decisions are made.
Independence
Our journalism answers to readers — not shareholders, governments, or advertisers.
Speed
We break news fast, but never at the cost of accuracy or context.
Impact
We pursue stories that matter and hold those in power to account.
